Rolf, Thomas, Ray & Dan = Smoke Mohawk in a tunnel

Smoke Mohawk consists of four veterans of the Norwegian rock scene:

Thomas Felberg (WE, Smut Peddlers) – vocals
Rolf Yngve Uggen (Gluecifer, The Lust-O-Rama, Astroburger, The Highrollers, Turbonegro, Stone-O-Saurus, Smut Peddlers, Asbury Park) – guitars & other stuff with or without strings
Raymond Jensen (My Midnight Creeps, Vidar Vang) – basses and more
Danny Young (Gluecifer, LoveOctopus, Bela B) – drums & one-way shakers

Smoke Mohawk was founded in the same kind of basement as The Who, Killdozer, Van der Graaf Generator, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen etc, music brewed on 60´s garage, psychedelia, prog, country and metal. The intention behind the band was to identify the true essence of rock, something they soon realised was easily summarized in Dr. Feelgood´s debut album ”Down By The Jetty” from 1975. With this as a starting point, new songs were written in an insane tempo and they have already created material for at least two full-length albums. Smoke Mohawk plays music because they just can´t help it. The debut album The Dogs Are Turning Red is released by Impeller Recordings on May 3, 2010.
